Classes For All Ages
Registration for Spring 2020
Classes start the week of January 13th
Performing in front of an audience doesn’t have to be scary. With practice, anyone can gain the presentation skills and confidence to act, sing, or dance onstage. The key is finding a nurturing environment where you can hone your craft — a place that encourages you to try new things without fear, and lets you explore your talents and creativity in a fun, encouraging setting. That’s who we are, and that’s what we do.
We help students of all skill levels develop their passion for performance and communication — qualities that are invaluable in every career, from Broadway to the boardroom.
Drama 101 - Age 8-12

Teen Acting Skills Class
Teen classes focus on skill sets that benefit teens on stage as well as in everyday life. Focusing on the proficiency needed to bring great work to life, this class will celebrate the process of learning, experimenting, taking risks, and challenging expectations while rehearsing. This class does not have a performance this semester. We will be working on necessary acting skills to better prepare our performers for the fall semester show.

Youth in this class will be preparing for the Texas Nonprofit Theatre's Youth Conference that will take place June 10th-14th 2020. This conference will be held in Bastrop at the Jerry Wilhelm Performance Center and is an amazing opportunity for young actors. Young people from all across Texas who are interested in the performing arts – particularly theatre – come together to attend workshops ranging from Improvisation to Hip Hop, Stage Makeup to Audition Techniques. The students are broken up into similar age groups, then rotate among 6 workshops, each of which lasts about 1 hour. Workshops are taught by professional theatre artists. Each youth company will also have the opportunity to perform at the conference.
13-18 years old are welcome to audition to perform with our troupe at the conference.
If your child (third grade- high school) would like to attend but not perform, they are welcome to attend with our troupe. Registration for the conference is still $95. You can find more information here: https://texastheatres.org/youth/
You are welcome to call Lisa Holcomb at 512-517-6422 if you have further questions.
